Worship is the center of our life together. We gather to respond to the word and presence of God and to reach out to one another and the wider world. At Harmony, worship is a time of joy and praise, of questioning and seeking, of thanksgiving for gifts received, and of prayers for help in time of need. We come as we are, trusting that God will supply what we truly need.

Our worship style is traditional but informal. We enjoy hymns old and new and music from Bach to blues. Sunday worship includes a Moment for Learners of All Ages and regularly explores the life of faith through the visual, literary, and lively arts.

CHOIR REHEARSAL: 10 AM

SPECIAL SERVICES: Deer Creek Harmony has a tradition of “worship at table” at key times during the year, such as Thanksgiving, Epiphany, and Maundy Thursday. These intergenerational services are held in the social hall, and a fellowship meal is an integral part of worship.

Other special services include our traditional candlelight Christmas Eve service, the services of Holy Week, Easter, and Pentecost, special “congregational Sundays," Earth Day Sunday, and domestic violence awareness Sunday. The Lord’s Supper is served on the first Sunday of each month.

CHOIR: Rehearsal is held on Sunday mornings at 10 A.M. Anyone who loves singing and being with others who do, too, are welcome to join!
