About our Pastor

Rev. Barbara L. Stumpf came to Deer Creek Harmony Church in the fall of 2004 after a career as instructor of classical piano. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from The Peabody Conservatory, a Master of Arts in Theology from St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, and a Master of Divinity Degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, with a Bachelor of Arts (highest distinction) from Penn State University. Her special interests include the role of the arts in renewing the life of the church, gardening, sketching, and making music. “Pastor Barbara” considers herself an “open and affirming” pastor and warmly welcomes anyone and everyone to the churches she serves..
